Back from Kin-Yoobi 2008, have been for a while, actually. I had a BLAST. ^-^ It was really tiny as far as conventions go(exspecially after reading Announcer Guy's journal on Otakon), but also really fun. I met some awesome people and LOST AN E-MAIL. Damn. It was from this cool Wolfe Wood cosplayer I'd been hanging out with. Still pissed at myself for that. But other than that it was fine.

The cosplay competition reaked, even though most of the cosplays were well done. There were about half a million Death Note cosplayers. xD Three Misa's, two lights, and two L's. I went as a wigless Luffy, but about five people recognized me anyways. I got pictures of a POCKY cosplayer! How awesome is that?!

There was a panel titled "Anime to Watch Other than Naruto and Bleach". I laughed my head off when I saw that, and of course had to attend. I actually picked up some good ideas of things to watch such as Library Wars and The Girl Who Lept Through Time. During the panel Oran High Host Club came up, and there was a hilarious debate between a guy with enough guts, and more than enough anime knowledge/experience, to say he hated the show, and a chosen representative. xD ...Oh, God, I got ATTACKED for saying Death Note is over rated and mainstream.

THERE WAS NO ONE PIECE MERCHANDISE IN THE ENTIRE DEALERS HALL. NONE. This made me very unhappy. One of the stores had actually considered printing up some T-Shirts, but then decided not to. Why, oh why? TT_TT I still bought more junk then I could really afford, anyways. xD (onigiri plushie, Village of Sound naruto ninja gloves, and pocky for the most part)

The Kareoke was uber-fun. xD I plugged in my MP3 Player for my song, though. Didn't have anything good.
